At Diamour, intentional dating is not just a tagline — it is the foundation of everything we build. We have seen too many people invest months of emotional energy into connections that were never headed anywhere, simply because no one was honest about their intentions from the start. With Release 1.42, we are changing that.
Today, we are introducing Non-Negotiables, Relationship Timeline, and the Timeline Dealbreaker — three interconnected features designed to ensure that when you match with someone on Diamour, you are matching with someone who is genuinely aligned with where you are going in life, not just where you are right now.
The new Relationship Timeline feature lets you declare exactly where you stand on your journey to marriage. Whether you are ready for marriage within the year or approaching things with intentional dating over one to two years, you can now be transparent about your personal timeline — and see your matches' timelines in return. No more guessing. No more months of investment only to discover you are on completely different paths.
But transparency alone is not enough. That is why we introduced the Timeline Dealbreaker toggle. When enabled, Diamour will only show you people with a compatible timeline. Your time is valuable and finite. This feature ensures you spend it with people who are actually headed in the same direction as you.
The people worth your time are the ones who already know what they want — and are not afraid to say it.
Your Non-Negotiables, Front and Centre
Beyond timelines, genuine compatibility lives in values, beliefs, and the things you simply cannot compromise on. The new Non-Negotiables feature lets you select your top three — from Faith & Spirituality to Family & Parenting, cultural values, financial philosophy, and more. You can also add a custom non-negotiable in your own words, because only you know what is truly non-negotiable for you.
These are not filters on a checklist. They are the bedrock of a real, lasting relationship. By surfacing non-negotiables early, Diamour ensures that your conversations start from a place of shared understanding rather than weeks of surface-level small talk before the important questions come up.
Together, these features represent a meaningful step forward for how intentional dating works on Diamour.
